Series Info: Young Dracula is a British children's fantasy television series airing on CBBC, loosely based on the children's book by Michael Lawrence. Directed by Joss Agnew, the first series was broadcast in 2006, and the second series, which started in late 2007,concluded in early 2008. Having lived in Transylvania, they move to Stokely, a small town in Britain after various incidents involving angry peasant mobs. It was filmed in various locations around Wales, including Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Glantaf, Caerphilly Castle, Tretower Court and parts of Llantrisant. The third series, commissioned three years after the second, sees Vlad and the Count on the run from slayers and vampires alike, while the Count is determined that Vlad should fulfil his destiny to become "the Chosen One". Count Dracula, a single father, moves to Britain from Transylvania with his two kids, Vlad and Ingrid.The story revolves around Vlad wanting to fit in with his classmates in his new school rather than sucking their blood as his father wants him to. Vlad befriends another outsider named Robin who wants to become less like the popular crowd and preferably more vampiric.

Ingrid has hit rock bottom since her near-death experience. On the advice of Miss McCauley, she has a therapy session. The therapist asks Ingrid to look into her past to find herself. The session works and Ingrid is back, but is pretending to a caring, loving sister and daughter. Vlad is missing and the count and Bertrand bicker over whose fault it is. Erin leaves because Vlad, her protector, is no longer there. She is persuaded by a desperate Ryan to return to make one last attempt at finding a cure. As she is sneaking a look in the Praedictum Impaver, she gets scratched and the blood produces text in the book.
